AM & PM routine.

As the research comes out, it's becoming more evident that screens and lights
directly influence circadian rhythm
and how we sleep.
Not to mention how screens
affect our moods!

Exposure to smart phones, computers, TVs, tablets and gaming consoles can severely impact our mental health which leads to increased stress, anxiety and depression.

When you consider how this directly influences our bodies ability to regulate inflammation and heal, it's no wonder that limiting screen time, especially in the mornings and before bed is one of the guidelines for this program.

Participants will be asked to turn off all screens and try to avoid artificial light at least
one hour before going to bed.
And wait at least one hour after waking before accessing screens in the morning.

This time instead can be used for AM and PM therapeutic/movement practices,
such as breathwork, somatic movements or relaxation therapies.

Exercise.

The physical aspect of this program is not just about daily exercise routines.

We only benefit from exercise when our bodies are able to recover from it.

This is often a major pain point when managing autoimmune diseases and other chronic conditions.
The Heal 30 programs address this by incorporating recovery practices into your weekly workout routines.
.
Participants will complete either a workout or a recovery practice everyday.

Practices should range from 15 to 60 minutes.

Nutrition.

For the next 30 days participants will choose a healthy diet plan of their choice, so long as it is not met with resistance.

Our deep seated beliefs, fears, doubts and anxieties about the foods we consume are more damaging than anything we actually eat.

You will learn how to make your food, supplements and nutrition a Blessing.

How we consume our food is often more important than what we are consuming.

Hydration.

Hydration is extremely important for everyone, but especially important when you're trying to overcome chronic illness, pain and fatigue.

Participants should practice drinking a minimum of a half ounces of water per pound of bodyweight each day. It is also important to
avoid alcohol and artificial beverages.

Although this is a great place for us to start
staying hydrated is more than just drinking enough water. While the water we drink and its quality is certainly important, it is only one aspect of hydration.

Mental health &
Self-development.

We will become what we consume.
What we focus on, what we watch, what we listen to and what we devote our time to.

When you are trying to heal, you need to surround yourself with people, activities, projects, ideas and thoughts that are up lifting.

Participants are asked to read 10 pages of a motivational, spiritual or uplifting book each day, and avoid focusing their attention on mainstream news, television programming and social media.
I often recommend that my clients also seek additional guidance and support when it comes to their mental health.

Get Outside!
Grounding.

Some might say it is common knowledge that getting outside in nature profoundly benefits health both physically and mentally.

Although this is widely known and accepted as fact, many people seem to underestimate the value of this powerful tool.

The Heal 30 program recommends that participants spend a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes outside every day, Grounding!

Getting outside is great. But the real power is in connecting our bodies to the earth.
(Skin to ground contact)
Studies have shown this to have a massive positive impact on how our bodies regulate inflammation, and it also has an amazing calming effect on the nervous system.
